Travel easily around Samoa in your own vehicle
You can use our 4 wheel drive vehicle, free of charge, for the duration of your stay at the holiday home.
Save yourself $50-$70 per day... That's what it typically costs for daily car hire from a rental company... You can spend that money on yourself!
With the 4x4, you can travel where you want, when you want and visit all the Samoan attractions you came to see!
It is reliable and holds a current registration... It's all ready for you when you arrive. Because the house is located near the center of the island, it is a short drive to either side of the island.
Not staying at the holiday home but wanting to hire the 4x4?
You can still hire the 4x4 vehicle if you are staying elsewhere in Samoa.
Vehicle hire is US$60 per day or US$50 per day for a hire period of one week (seven days) or more.

Getting a temporary Samoan drivers license
For a small fee, you can purchase a local drivers license if you currently hold a license in your own country or an international drivers license. Your Samoan license also makes a great souvenir to take home with you!
Tips for driving in Samoa
- The speed limit is within Apia is 40km/h (25mph) and outside of Apia it is 56 km/h (35mph).
- You will be driving on the left-hand side of the road, though don't drive too close to the edge as there are animals on the island that may stray onto the road.
- Keep an eye out for buses and other motorists. Some roads are narrow with blind corners, so just be cautious.
- Ask the locals before driving off the main roads. There is a small charge to enter some parts of the island. This helps to keep tourist money evenly distributed.
- Don't park under coconut trees!
